The Ford Wyoming Center upgraded its PA system with EAW solutions, led by Equalized Productions and Dave Kistler. The new setup enhanced sound quality for the College National Finals Rodeo, delivering clear, balanced audio that exceeded expectations and earned praise from attendees.

The Ford Wyoming Center recently upgraded its PA system with solutions from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) in preparation for the College National Final Rodeo (CNFR) and other events. The decision to upgrade came after experiencing issues with the old PA system. AV supplier Equalized Productions, led by President Dave Kistler, collaborated with ProTech Marketing of Colorado and EAW to design and install a new speaker setup.

The system included EAW QX596i and QX566i Three-way Trapezoidal Enclosures in the lower bowl, as well as MK2366i Passive Two-way Full-range Loudspeakers in the upper bowl. The use of EAW's Focusing technology improved sound quality and intelligibility throughout the arena. Kistler noted that the new system exceeded expectations, delivering clear, balanced sound with impressive low-end fidelity.

Aside from sound quality, Kistler praised EAW for their reliable service and ability to meet tight deadlines. The new system received positive feedback from the CNFR audience, with many noting the improved sound compared to previous setups. Overall, the Ford Wyoming Center and CNFR were highly satisfied with the performance and quality of the EAW system.
